NG23NW 4 2090 3885.

At NG 2090 3885, on top of a ridge abutting on the cliff edge, at about 280ft OD, there is a roughly rectangular enclosure lying across a hollow.
It measures 90.0m N-S by 70m transversley and is enclosed by an earth and stone bank, 2.5m wide and 0.5m high, except along the top of the cliff. There are faint inner and outer ditches along the northern half. There is an entrance, 10m wide, at the NW corner, with the ends of the bank turned outwards.
Within the enclosure, along the N. side, there are 11 circular, scooped hollows or depressions, 3 - 4.0m in diameter and 0.2m in depth; and traces of lazy-bed cultivation.
Visited by OS (A S P) 17 May 1961; Visible on RAF air photograph CPE/Scot/UK/175: 1136-7.
