Thurso, April 19, 9.5 a.m., BEAGLE, of Dublin, Campbell, part cargo manure for Thurso, missed stays off Castlehill Harbour, and drove ashore: not likely to get off. Wind NE, fresh.

The location assigned to this loss is essentially tentative. Castlehill Harbour (ND16NE 41.00) is at ND 1980 6861.
The loss of this vessel is not cited by I G Whittaker (1998), possibly suggesting her successful recovery.
