This disused gravel-pit is situated about 10m E of the Lybster to Watten public road, about 330m SW of the Loch of Camster. Subrectangular on plan, the pit measures 13m from NNW to SSE by 6m transversely and is dug into the foot of the W-facing slope to a depth of 2m.
