NG24NW 10 centred 24 45.

On the glebe land,about 1 mile S of the manse, on almost level ground at about 100ft OD, some 40 yards N of the march between the glebe and Orbost grazings, is a group of peaty mounds which have the appearance of small cairns covered with peat.
The mounds vary in shape from oval to circular and measure between 14-18ft in diameter and 2ft 6ins - 3ft in height. All the mounds, except one, have a stony content.
RCAHMS 1928.

These mounds could be not located, but are probfield clearance heaps. Visited by OS (A S P) 14 May 1961.
