Full Description

NG24NW 12 2445 4781.

About 1/2 mile S of Uiginish Lodge, 150 yards W of the road to Dunvegan, and 200 yards E of Dun Chaich (NG 243 477), is a circular earthen ring which appears to be the site of a broch from which all stones have been removed to build a stone dyke.
Information contain in letter from T C Lethbridge, 12 Sedley Taylor Rd., Cambridge, to OS 14 December 1951.

At NG 2445 4781, situated on a knoll, is near circular turf-walled enclosure with a level interior. It measures c. 17.5m in diameter between the centres of the wall which is c. 0.3m high and spread to c. 3.0m alll round. No entrance is evident. This does not appear to be a hut circle and is probably contemporary with depopulation building in the vicinity.
Visited by OS (R L) 13 October 1971.
