Full Description

NMRS Report: (09/11/2005)
ND34SE 10 35013 43476

All that is now visible of this quarry, which was filled in some years ago, is an uneven weed-infested area at the edge of a cultivated field immediately E of Sarclet village. The quarry appears to have measured at least 30m from NW to SE by 25m transversely; it is depicted but not annotated on both the 1st and 2nd editions of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1876, sheet XXX; 1907, sheet XXX).
