This disused quarry is situated in a relatively flat area of rough pasture about 60m NE of the abandoned farmsteading ND34SW 213. Oval on plan, it measures 12.3m from NNW to SSE by 8m transversely and at least 0.6m in depth, though the interior contains soggy peat and its true depth could not be established on the date of visit.
