This concrete block is situated about 320m SW of Lineside farmsteading (ND34SW 439), and stands immediately S of the farm track that leads to the ruined steading of Brownaban (ND34SW 114). Standing between the track and the drain, the block measures 0.92m from NE to SW by 0.59m transversely and 0.45m high. Sunk into its flat top, close to either end, are the remains of two timber batons and adjacent to these, close to the corners, are four steel bolts.
