Roughly oval on plan but with a straight SE side, it measures 11m from NE to SW by 4m transversely and has been dug into the E-facing flank of a low rise to a depth of 0.7m. A small exposure of rock is visible on the N side of the interior, which also contains some field-cleared stones.
