This disused roadside quarry, which is situated in a small field of rough pasture about 40m SSE of the modern house at Blackstobbs, measures 42m from NE to SW by up to 13m transversely. The rear of the quarry is marked by an irregular grass-grown scarp up to 2m in height and some exposed bare rock.
