This disused quarry is situated immediately W of the Thrumster to Mains of Ulbster public road, some 540m SSW of Rose Cottage. Roughly oval on plan, it measures 10m from NE to SW by 5m transversely and is dug to a depth of 0.8m into the SE face of a low rise.
