ND34SW 411 ND 31967 42113

An area of surface quarrying is visible on the crest of an E-facing crag in a pasture field to the N of Loch Watenan. Amongst the stones that have been quarried, there is a large roughly diamond-shaped boulder measuring 3.25m by 2.05m by 0.35m in thickness. Though abandoned, this boulder still rests on chocking stones, ready for removal or further dressing. Its upper face is heavily pock-marked.
