This disused quarry, which is situated on the N bank of the Swartigill Burn, is roughly oval on plan, measuring 9.3m from NE to SW by 5m transversely and up to 1m in depth on the NE. The entrance to the pit is on the SW, and there is a small heap of spoil on the SE.
