NMRS Report: (16/06/2006 14:38:30)
ND34NW 74 ND 29998 45873, ND 30074 45955 & ND 30231 46111

Three areas of rig-and-furrow, possibly originally part of one larger area of cultivation, are visible in rough pasture on a gentle, SE-facing slope to the NE of Oliclate farmstead (ND24NE 24). In each area, the rigs, which measure about 2.5m in breadth and up to 0.2m in height, are aligned NW and SE. The most northerly patch (YARROWS04 437), which contains poorly preserved rigs, measures 30m from NW to SE by 15m transversely. The central area (YARROWS04 438) and the SW area (YARROWS 439), which respectively measure 75m from NW to SE by 50m transversely and 95m from NE to SW by 90m transversely, contain rigs that are better preserved.
