Full Description

Iron slag has been found in Sunart Forest at NM 670 590 and other places.
Information from R A Menzies, Forestry Commission, Inverness to OS.

No knowledge of iron slag at Forestry Commission, Sunart and no knowledge of Menzies at Forestry Commission, Inverness. Site not visited.
Visited by OS (R L) 4 June 1970.

Aitken lists the slag heap at NM 670 590, and thirteen slag heaps in Sunart Forest and on Loch Sunart side. No further information is given. W G Aitken 1973.
