A building was recorded at this location during a walkover survey at Stronlairig as part of an environmental assessment for a proposed hydro-electric scheme. It is a rectangular structure, built in rubble and aligned N-S, 8.7 x 4.65m with walls 0.3m thick and up to 0.3m high. The upper structure was built in corrugated iron, but has completely collapsed. The site has been used for scrap. It may have originally been kennels. The building is marked on the 1992 OS map, but not on the latest OS map or the 1st and 2nd edition OS maps.
