A building was recorded at this site during an archaeological desktop survey for the Resolis Water Mains Renewal Project. It is marked as a roofed building on the 1st and 2nd edition OS maps of 1880 and 1907. The site is visible as a roofed structure on aerial photography of 1946 and as a rectangular ruin ruin of 2 compartments on aerial photographs of 1954 and 1969. It is seen as a ruined structure on aerial photography of 1973.
