NLO: Loch Eriboll [name centred NC 44 60]
Pentland Firth [name centred ND 35 81].

A large schooner belonging to Dundee, laden with herrings, from Wick to Ireland, was driven on shore in Loch Erribol, during a heavy gale 5th inst., and much damaged, but expected to be got off. Cargo saved.

The loss of this vessel is not cited by I G Whittaker (1998), suggesting her successful recovery.
