Full Description

NMRS Report: (23/09/2005)
NM56SW 18 5206 6317

A massively-built and relatively well-preserved wall of roughly coursed large stones was recorded here during a survey of part of Ardnamurchan Estate on the north shore of Loch Sunart, North Argyll. It is 0.8m wide and 0.7m high and suns SW forr 20m to the edge of a very steep slope. At the NE end, a long, rocky ridge may have continued this boundary for a further 42m. It appears to have been part of an early 19th century field system.
