Wick [name: ND 362 508].
Wick, 4th July. `The BORDER CHIEFTAIN, Maltman, from Newcastle to Dublin, drove on shore this morning about 3 miles SW of this port, during a strong gale from the East, and has since gone to pieces; crew saved.'
