Full Description

Watermill built by James Gillespie Graham in 1802 for Lord Macdonald. It ceased use in 1915. It comprises three compartments, including a kiln. The mill wheel and lade survive on the north gable <2>.

The mill survives to wallhead height but is in a ruinous and dangerous condition. Parts of the mill workings are still visible inside. Several mill stones survive, at least two of which have been propped up against walls <3>.
