Fort William Sherrif Court, designed by James Matthews and William Lawrie in 1876.

Martin Briscoe has submitted photographs of this site to the Highland HER Flickr group. <1>

The building was assessed for potential listing as part of a Historic Scotland nationwide review of purpose-built court houses in 2014-15. It was recommended that it be added to the list at Category C. <2>

It was added to the statutory list at Category C in Sept 2015. <3>
