Full Description

NMRS Report: (10/04/2006)
NG53NE 134 5525 3528

Close to the grounds of Suisnish House a scatter of low grass-covered foundations were recorded during a field survey of the Suisnish area of Raasay by ACFA, who have conducted surveys on the island every year since 1995. The remains are thought to comprise two houses and associated byres and stores. Some features at the N end of the collection of remains have been destroyed by the construction of a modern road. Much of the stonework appears to have been robbed and reused to construct new structures, such as a sheep fold.
