Full Description

NMRS Report: (15/11/2005)
NG53SE 36 5839 3494

A sub-rectangular structure measuring 10m x 2.4m (W end) and 5m (E end) was recorded here during a field survey of the Suisnish area of Raasay by ACFA, who have conducted surveys on the island every year since 1995. The walls remaining are no more than 0.2m high and 0.3m thick and are built of rough drystone with no sign of an entrance. Much of the stonework appears to have been robbed and some parts may have been adapted. It is not clear as to the function of the structure.
