NS53NE 178 5860 3513

The ruins of a building were recorded here during a field survey of the Suisnish area of Raasay by ACFA, who have conducted surveys on the island every year since 1995. It lies close to the shore and measures 9m x 4m internally and was constructed in drystone. The walls stand to a maximum of 1.4m in height and are between 0.6m and 0.8m thick. The E wall has a 0.8m-wide entrance. The walls are curved on the outside and square internally. A small pen has been inserted in to the ruins and some of the stonework has been re-used in its construction.
