Full Description

NMRS Report: (15/11/2005)
NG53SE 39 5680 3452

On a levelled platform at the top of an E-facing slope are the remains of what appears to be a hut circle. It was recorded here during a field survey of the Suisnish area of Raasay by ACFA, who have conducted surveys on the island every year since 1995. The structure is around 8m in diameter and over 240 degrees of the circle is intact. The walls comprise large stones with small stones used as infill, and survive to a height of 0.4m. No entrance could be discerned but it would appear likely that it is in the E side, which has not survived well.
