Full Description

NMRS Report: (02/02/2006)
NM47NW 21 42000 78984

This large grass-grown stony mound is situated beneath low crags at the rear of a grassy terrace bearing traces of lazy-bed cultivation. It measures 8.4m from N to S by 7.9m transversely and is up to 1m in height. There is no visible evidence that the mound is made up of collapsed huts or other structures, and it may be no more than a field-clearance heap. The furrows of several lazy-beds appear to cut through the western edge of the mound.
