Full Description

On a sheltered shore of a bay on the SE side of the Aird Mhoir peninsula the wreck of a boat or vessel was recorded during a survey of the lands around Loch Torridon by the North of Scotland Archaeological Society (NOSAS). The remains are scattered over an 18m section of shore and consist of rotten oak(?) timbers, metalwork, engine flywheel, galley stove, possible boiler, pots and stone ballast. <1>
