Nothing is visible of this small roadside quarry or gravel-pit, which was situated at the edge of what is now an improved field 160m W of North Yarrows farmsteading (ND34SW 488). The quarry is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1877, sheet xxix), but it is not shown on the 2nd edition of the map (1907 sheet xxix).
