Dunbeath Castle [name: ND 159 282].
Possibly on map sheet ND13SE.
Wick, 25th Sept. The brig MARGARET SCOTT, Watson, came on shore at Dunbarth [Dunbeath], in Lathron [Latheron] Bay yesterday, and is likely to become a wreck: part of the cargo (herrings) saved in a damaged state.

The loss of this vessel is not cited by I G Whittaker (1998), possibly suggesting her successful recovery.
