Wick [name: ND 362 508].

Wick, 24th March. The BLIGH, Ross, of Sunderland, from Helmsdale to this port, in making for the harbour last night, struck the end of the South Quay, and afterwards missed stays and drifted on the rocks, where she remains, with loss of keel, and her bottom broken up: the cargo & part of materials have been landed. [Record received incomplete].

The loss of this vessel is not cited by I G Whittaker (1998).
