This farmstead comprises a three-compartment range with byre and cart shed, and a three-bay cottage with an outshot to the rear. The buildings have flagstone walls and roofs. The 2nd edition of the OS 6-inch map depicts another range to the NW (Caithness 1907, sheet xi). This incorporated a threshing barn and was powered by a horse-engine platform attached to its rear, NE, wall. The site was visited in 2000.
