This limekiln is situated in uncultivated ground 140m W of Culreach Mains. It has been set into a W-facing slope to a depth of at least 2m, but the pot, which measures about 3.2m in internal diameter, is largely filled with rubble. The draw-hole is on the W.
The kiln is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1875, sheet XLVI), but it is not shown on the 2nd edition of the map (1903, sheet XLVI).
