NLO: Brora [name: NC 909 040].

Possibly on map sheet NC90NW.

Brora, 28th Feb. A ship's boat, with `John Paterson, ACORN, Berwlak¿, painted on the stern, came ashore about a mile East of this place.

The map sheet assigned to this record is essentially arbitrary, being derived from the reported location of discovery of the boat. The vessel may have foundered offshore, possibly beyond Scottish waters.
The loss of this vessel is not cited by I G Whittaker (1998).
