Sandwood, near Cape Wrath, 30th Dec. A vessel has driven ashore on the rocks East of Cape Wrath, and some barrels of Archangel tar have drifted ashore: nothing known of the crew.

Karvack (Cape Wrath), 21st Dec [1858]. A derelict schooner of about 100 tons, hull black with a red stripe, laden with tar, and a deckload of spars, drove ashore near this place from the N.W. during the afternoon of 29th Dec., and went to pieces.
