This drystone cairn, which is situated on an un-named rise 1km W of An Sgoran, measures about 2.2m in diameter and its steeply battered face rises to a mortared conical cap at a height of about 4m. A polished pink granite plaque, which is set into the SE side of the cairn 1m above ground-level, is inscribed `King Edward VII & Queen Alexandra || This cairn was erected by the people of Cromdale || on site of coronation bonfire || lighted by Mrs McGregor || Belmenach || 9th August 1902'.
