NJ01NW 43 NJ 04321 16633

This building is situated on the leading edge of a SW-facing terrace in moorland 740m SE of Lurg farmsteading (NJ01NW 24). Subrectangular on plan, it measures 15.7m from NW to SE by 5.7m transversely over walls reduced to heather-grown footings 0.4m in height. The interior contains two compartments, the smaller at the SE end, each of which has an entrance on the SW. An outshot attached to the SW side of the larger compartment may be a porch.
The building is depicted roofed on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1874, sheet LX); it is not shown on the 2nd edition of the map (1902, sheet LX).
