NLO: Inverness [name: NH 66 45].

Inverness, 14th Jan. The HART (Irish smack), with potatoes, went down in the [Caledonian] Canal, nearly opposite the Smithy below Muirtown Bridge, and after sinking, heeled over with her mast in the water.

The loss of this vessel is not cited by Whittaker, presumably suggesting her successful recovery.
