NMRS Report: (29/01/2007 11:45:03)
NJ02SW 76 NJ 00186 24393

The remains of two kilns are visible, set side-by-side into a WSW-facing slope, some 320m SW of Ballintomb farmsteading. The pots are largely filled with rubble and soil; that to the S measures about 2.5m in diameter by at least 0.8m in depth, the other measures about 1.7m in diameter by a least 0.5m in depth. In both cases the position of the draw-hole was obscured by dense broom on the date of visit.
Visited by RCAHMS (TP, IP) October 26 2006.
