Full Description

NG33SE 4 365 303.

A group of about 14 ruined shielings is situated at NG 365 303 at the junction of a minor stream and the Carbost Burn at a height of about 525' OD. (Visible on RAF air photographs CPE/Scot/UK/175: 4013-14)
They are all double-cell type, the majority well preserved with walling and internal features exposed. A few appear as turf-covered mounds only.
