Port Mahomack [Portmahomack], 15th Aug. The MARY DAWSON (smck), of Campbeltown, Mackie, from Buckie to this place, in ballast, was totally wrecked near here, 12th Aug.: crew saved.

The map sheet and location of loss assigned to this record remain unverified. The vessel may have stranded on the North Sea coast of Easter Ross, rather than within the Dornoch Firth.
