NG83SE 8005 unlocated
NLO: Loch Carron [name centred NG 83 34].

Kyleakin, 2nd Feb. The TRY AGAIN (schnr.), of Perth, discharging railway iron on the beach at Camalt (Loch Carron), was driven high up by the gale and very high tide on the morning of 30th Jan.: labourers are employed to get her floated by the first spring tides.
Source: LL, No. 17,105, London, Tuesday, February 9 1869.
NMRS, MS/829/72 (no. 11593).
The map sheet assigned to this record is arbitrary. The location of Camalt cannot be established from the available map evidence.
The loss of this vessel is not cited by I G Whittaker (1998), presumably confirming her successful recovery.
Information from RCAHMS (RJCM), 14 February 2007.
