Loch Maddy (Loch nam Madadh) [name centred NF 931 685].

The War. Captures. A report received this morning from Stornoway, states that the HERMANN HELBMANNS (?)(Pruss. barq.), which left Scapa, Orkney Islands, a few days previously was blown up off Dunvegan Head, the following morning, by a French man-of-war.

Glasgow, 28th Nov. Last week some wreck, evidently from a vessel which had been blown to pieces, washed ashore at Loch Maddy [Lochmaddy].
