Sound of Sleat [name centred NG 72 09].
Corry, by Broadford, 24th Oct. The DART (smack), of Montrose, bound to Easdale slate quarries, in ballast, drove from her anchors in Isle Ornsay harbour 21st Oct., and is now on shore there, but not much damaged.

Ornsay harbour is not indicated as such on the 1998 edition of the OS 1:50,000 map.
The loss of this vessel is not cited by I G Whittaker (1998), presumably suggesting her successful recovery.
