Series of almost enclosed ponds along the north coast of the tidal river Beauly before it opens into the estuary. The map shows 4 and perhaps 5 'ponds' of various sizes. All were full of water during our visit. Their surrounding banks were difficult to access but supported many reeds and undergrowth. They seemed in good condition. Presently full of patchy reed beds, they may have been estate or commercial reed beds in the past.
