Full Description

NMRS Report: (24/04/2007 10:53:45)
NN15NE 6.03 c.1755 5666

A second stone built oval shaped pillbox or machine-gun position is siuated about 40m NW upslope from NN15NE 6.02. Measuring about 3m on the long axis by 2m.
Two concrete loopholes were noted with a possible third in a heavily damaged section of the wall.
It is not possible to ascertain from the surviving remains whether this was a pillbox or a second machine-gun position, its location, in a central position, relative to the other wartime strcutures in the area, would suggest the latter.
Visited by RCAHMS (DE, GL), 19 April 2007
