On a marshy shelf formed by an old loop of the Abhainn Choishleadar, at about 136m OD is a group of 3 ruined shielings. They are of single and twin-cell types, reduced to turf ring-mounds with collapsed internal facings. A short length of turf and stone bank protects the most northerly of the group from floods.
Information from R Miket, October 1989.
