(Classified as sloop: no cargo specified, but date of loss cited as 7 December 1809). Mary: this vessel ran foulf of anchor at Scrabster, and was wrecked on Dunnet Sands. Registration: Thurso.

The location assigned to this record is essentially tentative. The Dunnet Sands are not noted as such on the 1999 edition of the OS 1:50,000 map; the name presumably applies to the extensive area of sands that is depicted around the SE end of Dunnet Bay.
