(Classified as schooner: no cargo specified, but date of loss cited as 4 December 1872). Ocean Star: this vessel stranded on rocks opposite Thurso Castle.

(Location of loss cited as N58 36.0 W3 32.33).

The location of this loss remains uncertain. Whittaker places the loss 'opposite Thurso Castle' [presumably Bishop's Castle or Scrabster Castle, Thurso [ND16NW 3, at ND 1068 6915].
