Possibly on map sheet ND26NW.
(Classified as sloop?, with cargo of salt: date of loss cited as 24 April 1844). Star: this vessel was wrecked at Castlehill, Dunnet Sands. Capt. McClasty. Registration: Inverness.
(Location of loss cited as N58 35.80 W3 22.75).

The location assigned to this loss is essentially tentative. Castlehill Harbour (ND16NE 41.00) is at ND 1980 6861.
Dunnet Sands are not noted as such on the 1999 edition of the OS 1:50,000 map. The name probbaly applies to the extensive sands at the SE end of Dunnet Bay, around ND 21 69.
